LG G2 Revealed, Mixed Button and Powerful Battery
Posted on August 11th, 2013 No commentsLG G2 was revealed on the 7th of August. This Android smartphone mixed power and volume button in the back design. The battery is 3000 mAh which will ensure an all-day-long use of the phone. The price of LG G2 is still mysterious, while the specs of this phone have been released. LG G2 will be available in coming 8 weeks at T-Mobile and Sprint in the US.
LG G2 is the new flagship of LG smartphone, and also the upgraded version of LG Optimus G series. The company uses LG G2 instead of the “LG Optimus G2” and the former name is absolutely easier to be remembered. The coming series may not use “Optimus” anymore, and the “Optimus” brand will officially retire when LG G2 released.
LG G2 has a shining new design on its buttons. Here will be only one button on the phone, and the button will mix with the functions of Power, Volume and other buttons you may find on a smartphone. The home button won’t be existed on LG G2, if users want to answer a phone call, just pick up the phone and answer it. In the cold winter days, I bet you don’t want to hang out your fingers of the gloves. The battery of LG G2 is powerful as well, the 3000 mAh battery will provide you long enough time for browsing websites and playing games, let alone making calls and texting messages.
5.1-inch screen and 0.1-inch bezel thickness? That’s exactly LG G2 owns. It has 5.1-inch screen with the high resolution of 1080*1920, and its bezel is only 0.1 inches thick. The iPhone 5 has 4-inch screen and the bezel is 0.3 inches thick. So you can imagine how this phone will be fit with your hand. The screen of LG G2 is equipped with IPS LCD Display, which provides more natural images than AMOLED Display when you look at pictures or watching videos. The PPI of this smartphone is 423, and it is a fairly high number, which brings less pixelation to your eyes. A very good aspect of this smartphone is the weight, it is only 143g, and your hand will get rid of the tiredness even when holding on this phone for a long time.
The CPU of LG G2 is the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, which is a powerful processor. LG G2 owns a 2GB RAM, it makes sure the phone runs fast and won’t get stuck when the phone is dealing with complicated apps. The internal memory of LG G2 is 16GB/32GB, the phone supports a MicroSD card up to 24GB. Users will benefit from the large storage space, even watching a full HD movie transferred from iPad is just a piece of cake. LG G2 runs with the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, which is not the latest 4.3 OS, but maybe the phone will have a built-in update program and you can manually update the operating system. By the way, according to the rumors, Android might come into the times of 5.0, so you can wait until the totally new Android operating system comes.
Although has not been available on the market, LG G2 is about to support the 4G LTE connection, which will bring users better experience. This new LG phone can be considered as a new design concept for the smartphones, the one with only one button and the only one without tapping the button to answer a call. Also, the ringtones of LG G2 will be from the sounds of Vienna Boys’ Choir. Will LG G2 lead the best sellers of 2013 smartphone? Let’s wait and see!

Battles of Mid-2013 Flagship Android Smartphones: LG G2 vs. Samsung Galaxy S 4 vs. HTC One vs. Moto X
Posted on August 8th, 2013 No commentsThe LG G2 is a high-end Android smartphone – an embodiment of cutting-edge hardware and precision-polished software, sprinkled with a handful of innovative goodies all over. It comes with top-of-the-line specifications, including a 5.2-inch, 1080p display made using IPS LCD technology, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip running at 2.3GHz, and 2GB of RAM. In terms of performance, the device should rank among the best handsets to date. Further down the list we have an advanced 13MP camera that stands out with cool features like optical image stabilization and 1080p video capturing at 60 frames per second. A notable multimedia feature is the support for 24-bit, 192kHz audio.
The design of the LG G2 is quite unusual for its volume and power buttons are placed on the back. Its thickness of 9 millimeters is acceptable considering that inside the phone you’ll find a 3000mAh removable battery. 32GB of on-board storage are present, expandable further through the use of a microSD card (in some markets).
